Dr. Wang Wei graduated from the Department of Pediatrics of Shanghai Second Medical University in 1982 with a bachelor's degree and in 1999 with a Master’s degree. Since graduation, she has been working in the Department of Pediatrics of Ruijin Hospital at Shanghai and become chief physician in 1999. She has extensive clinical experience in pediatric genetic and endocrine diseases, specializing in clinical treatment of short stature, precocious puberty, sexual dysplasia, adrenal diseases, thyroid diseases and obesity.
Dr. Wang has 40 years of clinical experience and has been devoted to the clinical teaching and scientific research of pediatric endocrine and genetic diseases. She has hosted a number of key scientific research projects, published dozens of scientific research papers, and has been awarded multiple medical awards, including 4 times of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
