Dr. Wenli Lu graduated from the Medical Department of Shanghai Second Medical University in 2001, received a Master of Medicine degree in 2007, and was promoted to Deputy Chief Physician in 2013. She has been devoted to the clinical, teaching and scientific research of children's growth and development for 20 years. She is specialized in treating complex cases of children's development illness, including short stature, precocious puberty, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, obesity, and thyroid disease, also in treating complex cases of children's endocrine and metabolic diseases.
From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Lu was in the research group under Professor Steven D. Chernausek at the Endocrine Metabolism and Diabetes Center of Children's Hospital of Oklahoma Health University to conduct clinical and molecular biological laboratory work, in the area of pathogenesis of child sexual development and pathological changes. The research aims to clarify the molecular mechanism of the occurrence and development of precocious puberty in children; basic and clinical research on precocious puberty; related articles are published in international journals such as NSR and ABBS.
