Neurology involves clinical diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases (cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage), migraine, Central Nerve System (CNS) infection (encephalitis and meningitis), myelitis, epilepsy, dementia, metabolic and genetic diseases, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatic nerve disease, peripheral neuropathy and myasthenia gravis etc.
The main examination tools include head and neck MRI, CT, ECT, PET/CT, electroencephalogram (EEG), transcranial Doppler (TCD), electromyography (EMG), evoked potentials, and hemorrheology examination. It will also collaborate with Psychology on diagnosis and treatment of functional disorders such as neurasthenia and insomnia.
